For the period of August 17th through August 23rd the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 10 calls.

August 17 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Pintail Court, in the Maple Point development. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Moon Court, in the Wynnewood development.

August 18— Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Fox Hollow Drive, in the Yardley Estates development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Pine Grove Road, near Prince William Court.

August 19 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Kol Emet Synagogue, on Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Rittenhouse Village Nursing Home, on Township Line Road.

August 21 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at Kohl’s Department Store, in the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center on Big Oak Road.

August 22— Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Arden Courts Nursing Home, on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Rescue 80 to respond for an auto extrication at the intersection of Woodbourne Road and Yardley Langhorne Road.

August 23 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Kathy Drive, in the Yardley Crossing development.
