For the period of December 23rd through December 27th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

December 24 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Stackhouse Drive, near Black Rock Road. The second call was for an oven fire at a home on Austin Road, near Pine Lane. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Kirkbride Circle, in the Palmer Farm development. The fourth call was for a working fire at a home on Nancy Road, that required mutual aid from four other fire companies.

December 25 — Dispatched for a dwelling fire on Merrick Road, in the Longshore Estates development.

December 26 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Artist Living Nursing Home, on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Upper Makefield (Station 71), for Engine 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Weatherfield Drive, near Woodhill Road.

December 27 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at the Continental Tavern, on North Main Street.
