For the week of November 25th through December 1st the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.

November 25 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a business in the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center, on Big Oak Road.  The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Glen Valley Road, near Yardley Morrisville Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Drew Drive, in the Buck Creek development. The fourth call was for “an extinguished dwelling fire” on Heritage Oak Drive, near Penn Oak Circle.

 November 27 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at an office building in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center, on Stony Hill Road.

November 28 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Fairfield Road, in the Fairfield development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for an apartment fire at the Commons at Fallsington, on Makefield Road.

November 29 — Dispatched for an auto extrication on Interstate 295, just west of the Yardley Newtown exit.

November 30 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Daleview Drive, near Pennsdale Drive. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the Yardley Grist Mill, on North Main Street.

December 1 — Dispatched for an auto extrication on Yardley Morrisville Road, near Orchard Way.
