For the week of December 16th through December 22nd the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 7 calls.

December 16 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Letchworth Avenue, at the River Quik Apartments.

December 17 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Stony Hill Road, near Yardley Langhorne Road. The second call was for an auto extrication on the Interstate 295 exit ramp for the Yardley Newtown exit. The third call was for a traffic standby at the railroad crossing on Township Line Road, where a car was on the train tracks.

December 20 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on South Crescent Boulevard, near Central Drive.

December 21 — Dispatched for a chimney fire at a home on Jacob Drive, in the Makefield Brook development.

December 22 — Dispatched for a fire investigation in the area of a home on Lookover Lane, near west College Avenue.
