For the week of November 11th through November 17th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

 

November 11 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Brentwood Drive, in the Makefield Brook development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Engine 0 to respond for a building fire at Colonial Gardens Apartments, on Plaza Boulevard. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for an apartment fire on Sweetbriar Road, near Mount Airy Drive. The fourth call was for a special assignment to assist the LMT Police with lighting, at an accident scene on River Road.

¬†November 12 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home in the Rose Hollow development, off Cardinal Drive.

November 13 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for an apartment fire on Robertson Avenue, near Coleman Avenue. The second call was for a chimney fire on Hayfield Drive, off Woodside Road, in the Clearview Estates development.

November 16 — Dispatched for a working car fire on the ramp to Interstate 295, near Yardley Newtown Road.
