For the week of June 24 th through June 30 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 14 calls.

June 24 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for
an apartment fire on Sweetbriar Road.
June 25 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm
at a home on Henry Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development. The second call was for an activated fire
alarm at a home on Warwick Road, in the Westover development
June 26 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
North Main Street, near Afton Avenue. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Hunt Drive, in the Makefield Ridge development.
June 27 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Aspen Woods
Drive, in the Makefield Glen development.
June 28 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a dwelling fire on Scattergood Court,
in the River Gate development. The second and third calls were for an activated fire alarm at
Rittenhouse Village Nursing Home, on Township Line Road.
June 29 — Dispatched for five calls. The first call was for an activated gas alarm at a home on
Covington Road, in the Makefield Glen development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to
Upper Makefield (Station 71), for Engine 0 to respond and cover their district while all their units were
tied up at a house fire. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Sterling Road, in the
Brookfield development. The fourth call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for
Ladder 0 to respond for a working fire at a building on Crown Street, near East Trenton Avenue. The
fifth call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Rescue 80 to respond for burning electrical
wires on a pole, on Walton Drive. On the way back to Station 80, Rescue 80 was redirected to cover
Station 98 (Morrisville) while all their units were tied up at a building fire.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 294 calls. For
