For the week of July 15th through July 21st the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 21 calls.

July 15 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Tudor Lane, in the Westover development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Sweetbriar Court, in the Hidden Oaks development.

July 16 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire at the Castle Club Apartments, on West Trenton Avenue. The second call was for a water flow alarm at a home on Beechwood Lane, off Dolington Road.

July 17 — Dispatched for eight calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at an office in the Floral Vale Professional Park, off Yardley Langhorne Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 80 to respond for a building fire at the Harpers Crossing Apartments, off Big Oak Road. The next four calls were for for burning electrical wires at the intersection of Kings Road and Edgewood Road, for Yardley Road, near Laurel Lane, Glenolden Road, near Black Rock Road, and Ivy Lane, near Bedford Place. The seventh call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 80 to respond for another apartment fire at the Harpers Crossing Apartments. The eighth call was for a burning odor inside a home on Highview Lane, near Hunt Drive.

July 18 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was forburning electrical wires in the rear of a home on Stackhouse Drive, near Black Rock Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Makefield Elementary School, on Makefield Road. The third call was for a fuel spill on Spring Lane, off Lindenhurst Road. The fourth call was for burning electrical wires on Wendover Road, in the River Glen development.

July 19 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 80 to respond for a dwelling fire at a home in the Avenrowe development. The second call was for a stuck elevator at the Mosque of Yardley, on Big Oak Road.

July 20 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire at the Commons at Fallsington, on Makefield Road.

July 21 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home in the Timber Lakes development, off Lindenhurst Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 80 and Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire at Colonial Gardens, on Plaza Boulevard.
