For the week of October 1st through October 7th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.

October 1 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home in the Sun Garden Apartments, on North Delaware Avenue.

 October 2 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Albright Drive, in the Sandy Run development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Andrea Place, in the Ashley Estates development.

October 3 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Canterbury Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Bray Lane, in the Chanticleer development.

October 5 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Cornell Drive, in the Sandy Run development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Liberty Drive, in the Centennial Village development.

October 6 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Brookfield Road, in the Farmview development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the Yardley Community Center, on South Main Street.

October 7 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Buck Creek Drive, in the Buck Creek Estates development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Albright Drive, in the Sandy Run development.
