For the week of March 12th through March 18th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 12 calls.

March 12 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at the Lower Makefield Township building, on Edgewood Road. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Makefield Road, near Big Oak Road. The third call was for natural gas fumes on Taylorsville Road, between Woodside Road and Mount Eyre Road. The fourth call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Timber Lakes Drive, off Lindenhurst Road.

March 14 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Merrick Road, in the Longshore Estates development. The second call was for an auto extrication at the intersection of Roelofs Road and Derbyshire Road.

March 15 — Dispatched for two calls, the first call was for an activated fire alarm at an office building in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center, on Township Line Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at The Vault Brewing Company, on South Main Street.

March 16 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Countess Drive, near Dukes Drive. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Merrick Road, in the Longshore Estates development. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for a working garage fire on Hillside Avenue.

March 18 — Dispatched for a gas leak inside a home on Silverwood Drive, in the Dolington Estates development.
