For the week of February 26th through March 4th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 36 calls.

February 27 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at The Vault, on South Main Street. The second call was for a possible fire at the Grey Nuns Academy, on Quarry Road.

February 28 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Sheffield Drive, in the Makefield Glen development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Engine 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Fulling Mill Road. The third call was for a gas leak at a home on Kirkbride Circle, in the Palmer Farm development.

 March 1 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a marine rescue on the Delaware River, in the area nearest Letchworth Avenue and River Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Brookfield Road, near Greenbriar Court. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on South Main Street.

March 2 — Dispatched for sixteen calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville  (Station 98), for Engine 0 to respond and cover their district. As the engine responded it was called in to the scene of a working house fire. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Upper Makefield (Station 71), for Ladder 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Lafayette Drive. The third call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Makefield Road. Around 4 pm the wind and snow storm rolled in and there were 13 calls till midnight. Those calls included burning electrical wires on poles at Lindenhurst Road, Patrick Lane, Gloria Lane, West Afton Avenue, Oxford Valley Road, Cold Spring Avenue, and Edgewood Road. There were activated fire and carbon monoxide alarms on Edgewood Road, Harvest Drive, Greenmeadows Road, Scammel Drive, Lehigh Drive and South Main Street.

March 3 — Dispatched for six calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Harvest Drive, in the Mirror Lake development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Countess Drive, in the Afton Chase development. The third call was for a building fire at the Beth El Synagogue on Stony Hill Road. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Stackhouse Drive, near Stacy Drive. The fifth call was for a fire investigation in the area of River Road and Black Rock Road. The sixth call was for burning electrical wires outside a home on Sunnyside Lane, near Dolington Road.

March 4 — Dispatched for six calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Thistlewood Drive, in the Gatefield development. The second call was for burning electrical wires on a pole at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Heacock Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Harvest Drive, in the Mirror Lake development. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Westover Road, near Tudor Lane. The fifth call was for a dwelling fire on Sandy Road, near Big Oak Road. The sixth call was for a dwelling fire on Flint Court, near Bluestone Drive.
