For the week of December 18 th through December 25 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 13 calls.

December 18 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Temple Drive, in the
Sandy Run development.
December 19 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Upper
Makefield (Station 71), for Engine 80 to respond for a building fire at the National Cemetery on
Highland Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 80 to
respond for “fumes inside the dwelling” at a home on Makefield Road.
December 20 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a
home on Jack Road, near Esther Lane. The second call was for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on
Creekview Lane, in the Yardley Walk development.
December 21 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist
the squad with a patient at a home on Scammel Drive, near Highview Drive. The second call was for an
activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Colts Lane, in the Bridle Estates development.
December 22 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond
for an apartment fire at the Nolan Park Apartments, on Nolan Avenue.
December 23 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at the
Hampton Inn, in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center on Stony Hill Road.
December 24 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist
the squad with a patient on Essex Lane, near Greenhill Road. The second call was for a mutual aid
assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire on Sweetbriar Road, near
West Trenton Avenue.
December 25 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a
home on Hoover Way, in the Regency development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at
a home on South Crescent Boulevard, near Central Avenue.
