For the week of December 11 th through December 17 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.

December 11 — Dispatched for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on Trowbridge Drive, off
Lindenhurst Road.
December 12 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for “fumes in the dwelling” at a
home on Powderhorn Drive, in the Dolington Estates development. The second call was for a mutual
aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Rescue 80 to respond for an auto extrication on Bridgetown
Pike, near Route 413.
December 13 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a business in the Lower Makefield
Shopping Center, off Stony Hill Road.
December 14 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist
the squad with a patient at a home on Hunt Drive, in the Makefield Ridge development. The second
call was for an activated fire alarm at Kohls Department Store, in the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center on
Big Oak Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at Magic Cottage Day School, in the Floral
Vale Professional Park. The fourth call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Engine
80 to respond for an activated fire alarm at a home on Erica Drive.
December 15 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Flail Drive, in the Mirror
Lake development.
December 16 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at Spring Village Nursing Home, on
Township Line Road.
December 17 — Dispatched for an automatic water flow alarm at Manor Care Health Services,
on Oxford Valley Road.
