For the week of November 13 th through November 19 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 10 calls.

November 13 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a business in Makefield Executive
Quarters, on Oxford Valley Road.
November 15 — Dispatched for a dwelling fire on Stony Hill Road, near Big Oak Road.
November 17 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at
Edgewood Elementary School, on Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for a riding lawn mower fire
at the corner of Makefield Road and Sutphin Road. The third call was for a dwelling fire on
Morningside Road, between Edgewood Road and Sunset Lane. The fourth call was for an activated fire
alarm on Ashleigh Road, in the Heather Ridge development.
November 18 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a working fire on Big Oak
Road in the early morning hours, between Derbyshire Road and Esther Lane. The second call was for
an activated fire alarm at the Church of Latter Day Saints, on Pine Grove Road. The third call was for an
activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Lynbrooke Drive, in the Brookstone development.
November 19 — Dispatched for a vehicle fire on Interstate 95, near the Yardley rest area.
