For the week of May 22nd through May 28th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 10 calls.

May 22 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Harvest Drive, in the Mirror Lake development.

 May 24 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Engine 0 to respond for a fire at Americana Terrace Apartments, on Plaza Boulevard. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Spring Village Nursing Home, on Township Line Road.

May 25 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Weber Drive, near Ramsey Road.

May 26 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Drew Drive, near Winder Drive.

 May 27 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Engine 80 to respond for an activated fire alarm at a home in the Shady Brook development, off Village Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the rest stop building on Interstate 95. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Upper Makefield (Station 81), for Rescue 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Merrick Drive. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at Christine’s Restaurant, on Oxford Valley Road.

May 28 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Longshore Avenue, near Letchworth Avenue.
