| For the week of October 5th through October 11th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 9 calls.
October 5 --- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on North Crescent Boulevard, near Edgewood Road.
October 6--- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a preschool on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Cedar Hollow Drive, in the Makefield Glen development.
October 7 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Kol Emet Synagogue on Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Spring Lane, off Lindenhurst Road.
October 8 --- Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Polo Run Drive, off Yardley Langhorne Road.
October 9--- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Morgan Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development.
October 10 --- Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Oxford Road, near Lakeview Drive.
October 11 --- Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Rescue 0 to respond for an apartment fire at Wellington Woods, on Sweetbriar Road.
