For the week of September 7th through September 13th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 13 calls.

  September 8  --- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Stackhouse Drive, Near Black Rock Road.

September 9 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on East Wellington Road, in the Yardley Run development. The second call was for a burning odor in the kitchen area of the Hampton Inn, in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center on Stony Hill Road.

September 10 --- Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Fairfield Road, in the Fairfield development. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Independence Drive, near Freedom Drive. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at Quarry Hill School, on Quarry Road.

September 11--- Dispatched for five calls. The first call was for an activated gas alarm at a home on Ovington Road, in the Westover development. The second call was for burning electrical wires on a pole on Woodside Road, near River Road. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 21), for Engine 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Yardley Langhorne Road. The fourth call was for an auto extrication at the intersection of Heacock Road and Yardley Langhorne Road. The fifth call was for an activated fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living on Township Line Road.

September 12 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a water flow alarm at Golden China Restaurant, in the Floral Vale Professional Park. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Dickinson Drive, near Drexel Road.
