For the two week period of June 22nd through July 5th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 20 calls.

             For the two week period of June 22nd through July 5th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 20 calls.

June 23  --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a roof fire at the Yardley Makefield Branch of the Bucks County Free Library on Edgewood Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on South Main Street.

June 25 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a business in the Floral Vale Professional Park on Yardley Langhorne Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at William Penn Middle School on Derbyshire Road.

June 27 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Stackhouse Drive. The second call was dispatched for a dwelling fire at a home on Weinman Way

June 28 --- Dispatched for burning electrical wires on a pole at the intersection of Stony Hill and Yardley Langhorne Roads.

June 29 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a brush fire on Township Line Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Beechwood Lane.

June 30 --- Dispatched for a fuel spill at the intersection of Yardley Newtown Road and Interstate 95

July 1 --- Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on West Palmer Street.  The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Pennwood Middle School, on Makefield Road.

July 2 --- Dispatched for six calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Tower 80 to respond and cover their district while all their units were tied up at a dwelling fire. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a business in the Floral Vale Professional Park. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on North Main Street. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at Makefield Elementary School on Makefield Road. The fifth call was for burning electrical wire in front of a home on North Main Street. The sixth call was dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Covington Road, in the Makefield Glen development.

July 4 --- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Baron Drive, off Princess Drive.

July 5 --- Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Taylorsville Road, near Mt Eyre Road.
