For the week of December 21st through December 27th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 15 calls.

December 21 — Dispatched for burning electrical wires inside a home on Silverwood Drive, in the Dolington Estates development.

December 23 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Fairfield Road, in the Fairfield development.

December 24 — Dispatched for burning electrical wires inside a home in the Yardley Commons development, off South Main Street.

 December 25 — Dispatched for nine calls on Christmas Day. The first call was for an apartment fire at the Polo Run Apartments, off Yardley Langhorne Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on South Main Street, near College Avenue. The third call was for burning electrical wires at the intersection of Forest Road and Big Oak Road. The fourth call was for burning electrical wires near a home on Tudor Lane, in the Westover development. The fifth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Shetland Court, in the Ridings development. The sixth call was for burning wires near another home on Tudor Lane, in the Westover development. The seventh call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Clydesdale Circle, in the Ridings development. The eighth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on River Road, near Robinson Place. The ninth call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on South Main Street, near College Avenue.

December 26 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Edgewood Road, near North Crescent Boulevard.

December 27 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated water flow alarm at Floral Creek Nursing Home, on Township line Road. The second call was for another water flow alarm at Floral Creek Nursing Home, about 9 hours later.
