For the week of December 7th through December 13th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 9 calls.

December 7 — Dispatched for a dwelling fire at a home on Darby Drive, near Ramsey Road.

 December 9 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Cultipacker Road, in the Makefield Ridge development. The second call was for a working dwelling fire on Stony Hill Road, near Oxford Valley Road, where flames were through the roof upon arrival.

December 10 — Dispatched for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on Sandy Run Road, near Reading Avenue.

December 11 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for burning electrical wires inside a home on Sumter Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development. The second call was for a fire at the construction site under the Scudders Falls Bridge, on Interstate 295.

December 12 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire at the Castle Club Apartments, on West Trenton Avenue. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Silverwood Drive, in the Dolington Estates development.

December 13 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire at Americana Terrace, on Plaza Boulevard.
