For the week of October 26th through November 1st the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

October 28 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on East Wellington Road, in the Yardley Run development.

October 29 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 to respond for ‘fumes in the dwelling” at a home on Teal Drive, in the Lakeview Estates development. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Penn Valley Drive, near Afton Avenue. The third call was for burning electrical wires inside a home on Ardsley Road, in the River Glen development.

October 31 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Gainsway Road, in the Carriage Hill development

November 1 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a fuel spill on Princeton Drive, in the Sandy Run development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Clark Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Engine 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Wilk Drive, near Doloro Drive.
