For the week of September 21st through September 27th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 6 calls.

September 21 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on River Road, near Bedford Place. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Silverwood Drive, in the Dolington Estates development. The third call was for a fuel spill on Riverview Avenue, near Cold Spring Avenue.

September 23 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Princess Drive, near Kings Road.

September 26 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for burning electrical wires in the trees on Anderson Road, near Big Oak Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Abrams Hebrew Academy, on West College Avenue.
