For the week of September 14th through September 20th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 17 calls.

September 14 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Ramsey Road, near Kings Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Silverwood Drive, in the Dolington Estates development. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire at Castle Club Apartments, on West Trenton Avenue.

September 15 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Floral Creek Nursing Home, on Township Line Road.  The second call was for a dwelling fire on Noreen Drive, near Valley Drive. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Tall Meadow Lane, in the Big Oak Bend development.

September 16 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an extinguished dwelling fire on Trowbridge Drive, off Lindenhurst Road. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Powderhorn Drive, in the Dolington Estates development. The third call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Putnam Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development.

September 17 — Dispatched for “fumes in the dwelling” on Glenoak Drive, near Freedom Drive.

September 18 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at the Yardley Country Club, on Reading Avenue. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Penns Grant Drive. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Ladder 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Craig Court.

September 19 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Drew Drive, in the Buck Creek development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Shady Brook Drive, off Village Road. The third call was for a special assignment to assist the squad at the Yardley train station, on Reading Avenue.

September 20 — Dispatched for a nursing home fire at Manor Care Health Services, on Oxford Valley Road.
