For the week of September 7th through September 13th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 17 calls.

 

September 7 — Dispatched for five calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Littlecroft Court, in the Yardley Corners development. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Hillside Lane, off Lindenhurst Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on North Main Street, near Cold Spring Avenue. The fourth call was for a building fire at Floral Creek Nursing Home, on Township Line Road. The fifth call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Engine 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Taft Avenue, near West Trenton Avenue.

September 8 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at Edgewood Elementary School, on Oxford Valley Road.

September 9 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on North Crescent Boulevard, near Terracedale Road.  The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on East Wellington Road, in the Yardley Run development.

September 10 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for a car fire on the ramp of Station 0, on South Main Street. The second call was for gas fumes in the building at Kol Emet Synagogue, on Oxford Valley Road. The third call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Covington Road, in the Makefield Glen development. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Princess Drive, near Kings Road.

September 12 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Roelofs Road, near Bancroft Lane. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Falls Creek Nursing Home, on Township Line Road.

September 13 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Tall Meadow Lane, in the Big Oak Bend development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm on Drew Drive, in the Buck Creek development. The third call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Temple Drive, near Schuyler Road.
