For the week of August 31st through September 6th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 9 calls.

August 31 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living, on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for a fuel spill on South Main Street, near Letchworth Avenue.

September 2 — Dispatched for an extinguished dwelling fire at a home on Eton Road, in the Westover development.

September 3 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a fully involved car fire at the rest stop area on Interstate 295, near Taylorsville Road.  The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the Giant Food Store, in the Lower Makefield Shopping Center on Stony Hill Road.

September 5 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living, on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for a brush fire at the intersection of Bridle Court and Wheatsheaf Road, in the Fairfield development.

September 6 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for an apartment fire on Sweetbriar Road, near West Trenton Avenue. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Clydesdale Circle, near Creamery Road.
