For the week of March 23rd through March 29th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 13 calls.

 

March 24 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on South Main Street, near Letchworth Avenue. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the homeowner with an animal problem at the intersection of Revere Road and Quincy Drive. The third call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Ramsey Road, near Garey Drive.

March 26 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a fire investigation near a home on South Dove Road, in the Heacock Meadows development. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Cornerstone Drive, in the Cornerstone development off Township Line Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Burgundy Place, in the Afton Estates development.

March 27 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Harper Avenue, near West Palmer Street.

March 28— Dispatched for five calls. The first call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Yardley Newtown Road, near Hunt Drive. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Cricket Court, in the Tanglewood development. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Bancroft Lane, in the Wyndham development. The fourth call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for an apartment fire at Colonial Gardens, on Plaza Boulevard. The fifth call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 80 to respond for a dwelling fire in the Shady Brook development, off Village Road.

March 29 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for an apartment fire at Wellington Woods, on Sweetbriar Road.
