For the week of March 16th through March 22nd the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 10 calls.

March 16 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a rubbish fire at the intersection of Makefield Road and North Homestead Drive. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 80 to respond for an apartment fire at Castle Club Apartments, on West Trenton Avenue.

March 17 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Fox Hollow Drive, in the Yardley Estates development.

March 18 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Riverdale Road, in the Penn Valley Manor development.

March 19 — Dispatched for a dwelling fire on Winthrop Drive, near Stark Circle, in the Yardley Hunt development.

  March 21— Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on West College Avenue, near Ziaylek Drive. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Kirkbride Circle, in the Palmer Farm development.

March 22 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Keating Drive, near Norman Drive. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Irving Road, near Derbyshire Road. The third call was for burning electrical wires in tree branches near a home on Moon Drive, in the Wynnewood development.
