For the period of January 6th through January 12th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 9 calls.

January 6 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Mercer County Station 33 (West Trenton), for Engine 0 to respond just before 3 am, and cover their district while all their units were tied up at a dwelling fire. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Hudson Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for a “fumes in the home” at the Commons at Fallsington, on Makefield Road.

January 7 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Fairless Hills (Station 31), for Ladder 80 to respond and cover their district while all their units went to a strip mall fire in Bristol Township. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 and Engine 80 to respond for an apartment fire at Colonial Gardens Apartments, on Plaza Boulevard. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Leslie Lane, in the Yardley Estates development.

January 8 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for “fumes in the dwelling” at the Commons at Fallsington, on Makefield Road.

January 10 — Dispatched for a dwelling fire on Hyde Park Place, in the Big Oak Woods development.

January 12 — Dispatched for a fully involved car fire on Big Oak Road, near Acorn Drive
