For the week of October 14th through October 20th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

October 14 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Sterling Road, in the Brookstone development.

October 16 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Merrick Road, in the Longshore Estates development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Rose Hollow Drive, near Cardinal Drive.

October 17 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for burning electrical wires in front of a home on Sandy Run Road, near Reading Avenue. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Stackhouse Drive, near Stacy Drive.

October 19 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 0 to respond for a building fire at the Clubhouse, in the Shady Brook development. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at a home on Jacob Drive, in the Makefield Brook development.

October 20 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Lynbrooke Drive, in the Brookstone development.
