For the week of October 7th through October 13th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

October 7 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Makefield Elementary School, on Makefield Road. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Stony Hill Road, near Cardinal Drive. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on North Crescent Boulevard, near Terracedale Road.

October 9 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a fuel spill in the driveway of a home on Cinnabar Lane, in the Meadow Brook development. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Sterling Road, in the Brookstone development.

October 11 — Dispatched for burning electrical wires inside an office on Heacock Road, near Edgewood Road.

October 13 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Locust Drive, in the Regency development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Countess Drive, in the Afton Chase development.
