For the week of June 17 th through June 23 rd the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 12 calls.

June 17 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Deerpath Lane, near Edgewood Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
North Crescent Boulevard, near Edgewood Road.
June 18 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a car fire at the intersection of Yardley
Newtown Road and Stony Hill Road. The second call was for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on
Cedar Hollow Drive, in the Makefield Glen development.
June 19 — Dispatched for a fully involved car fire on Aspen Road, in the Yardley Oaks
development.
June 20 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for burning electrical wires inside a home
on Fayette Drive, near Lawndale Road. The second call was for “fumes inside the dwelling” at a home
on Highland Drive, near Plymouth Lane.
June 22 — Dispatched for an auto extrication at the intersection of Yardley Newtown Road
and Stony Hill Road.
June 23 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Brookfield Road, in the Farmview development. The second call was for a special assignment to assist
the squad with a patient on Rose Hollow Drive, near Trellis Circle. The third call was for an activated
fire alarm at Rittenhouse Village Nursing Home, on Township Line Road. The fourth call was for a fire
investigation at the intersection of Heacock Road and Stony Hill Road.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 280 calls. For
