For the week of July 8th through July 14th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 15 calls.

July 8 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Manor Lane North, in the Manor Gate development.

July 9 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Fairless Hills (Station 31), for Engine 80 to respond and cover their district while all their units were tied up at an apartment fire. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Engine 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Jenks Alley, in the Newtown Walk development.

July 10 — Dispatched for a water flow alarm at an office building in Floral Vale Professional Park, on Yardley Langhorne Road.

July 11 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a business in the Edgewood Village Shopping Center, on Heacock Road. The second call was for a fuel spill near an office in the Floral Vale Professional Park, on Yardley Langhorne Road. The third call was for burning electrical wires at the intersection of Countess Drive and Victory Drive. The fourth call was for a tree on fire from a lightning strike, on Oxford Valley Road.

July 12 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Yardley United Methodist Church, on Yardley Langhorne Road. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Springdale Terrace, near Pevsner Road.

July 13 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a dwelling fire on Wrightfield Avenue, near Homestead Drive. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 80 to respond for an apartment fire at the Harpers Crossing Apartments, on Big Oak Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at an office building in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center, on Township Line Road.

July 14 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Stony Hill Road, near Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at the Makefield Glen Clubhouse, on Covington Road.
