For the week of July 1 st through July 7 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 12 calls.

July 1 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine
80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Quaker Circle, in the Highland Gate development.
July 3 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Oxford Valley Road, near Stony Hill Road. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm
at a home on Brookhaven Drive, in the Makefield Glen development.
July 5 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Shelly Lane, in the Westover development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home
on Hidden Oaks Drive, in the Hidden Oaks development. The third call was for an activated fire alarm
at a home on Timber Lakes Drive, off Lindenhurst Road. The fourth call was for a mutual aid assist to
Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for a building fire on East Trenton Avenue.
July 6 — Dispatched for burning electrical wires at the intersection of River Road and Vickers
Way.
July 7 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Roelofs Road, near Ramsey Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Rittenhouse Village
Nursing Home, on Township Line Road. The third call was for a marine rescue near the Scudder Falls
Bridge, where someone jumped off the bridge. The fourth call was for a mutual aid assist to Upper
Makefield (Station 71), for Ladder 0 and Engine 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Bailey Drive, near
Taylorsville Road.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 306 calls. For
