For the week of June 3rd through June 9th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 13 calls.

June 3 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 21), for Ladder 80 to respond for a building fire at St. Mary’s Rehab Hospital on Langhorne Newtown Road. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at a home on Springdale Terrace, near Anderson Road.

June 4 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an extinguished building fire at a home in Yardley Commons, off South Main Street. The second call was for a fuel spill on Bluestone Drive, near Stony Hill Road, where a car had its gas tank punctured by some debris on the road.

June 5 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at Sunrise Assisted Living, on Stony Hill Road.

 June 6 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at Charles Boehm Middle School, on Big Oak Road. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Cedar Hollow Drive, in the Makefield Glen development. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Heather Ridge Drive, off Lindenhurst Road.

June 7 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Ladder 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Quince Circle, near Honey Locust Lane. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for an auto extrication on Pine Grove Road and West Trenton Avenue.

June 8 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Spruce Mill Drive, in the Makefield Glen development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Tall Meadow Lane, in the Big Oak Bend development.

June 9 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Big Oak Road, near Esther Lane.
