For the week of March 18th through March 24th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 9 calls.

March 20 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Manor Lane North, in the Penn Valley Manor development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Hunt Drive, in the Makefield Ridge development.

March 21 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Edgewood Elementary School, on Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Enoch Court, in the Prospect Manor development.

March 23 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Hayfield Drive, in the Clearview Estates development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living, on Stony Hill Road. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 80 to respond for a working house fire on Barnsbury Road.

March 24 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a traffic accident with fire on South Main Street, near College Avenue. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Sunset Lane, near North Crescent Boulevard.
