For the week of February 25th through March 3rd the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

February 25 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on North Crescent Boulevard, near Terracedale Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Jacob Drive, in the Makefield Brook development.

February 27 — Dispatched for burning electrical wires on a pole, in the area of River Road and Michael Road.

February 28 — Dispatched for an auto extrication on Yardley Newtown Road, at the Interstate 295 overpass.

¬†March 2 — Dispatched for burning electrical wires near a home on Penn Valley Drive, near Cadwallader Court.

March 3 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Wilbur Road, near Barbara Drive. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Engine 80 to respond for a building fire at the Newtown Laundromat, on North State Street. The third call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Yardley Morrisville Road, near Black Rock Road.
