For the week of February 11th through February 17th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 7 calls.

February 11 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm that was upgraded to a building fire at William Penn Middle School, on Derbyshire Road.

February 13 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at the Santander Bank, in the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center on Big Oak Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the Starbucks store on North Main Street.

 February 14 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated water flow alarm at the Continental Tavern, on North Main Street. The second call was for an auto extrication near the Village Market, on Washington Crossing Road. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Pennington Fire Company (Mercer County Station 51), for Engine 0 to respond and cover their district while all their units were tied up at a dwelling fire.

February 16 — Dispatched for “fumes in the building” at the Starbucks store in the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center, on Big Oak Road.
