For the two week of January 21st through February 3rd the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 31 calls.

January 21 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Thrush Court, in the Rose Hollow development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Fairless Hills (Station 31), for Engine 80 to respond for a building fire at a business on Lincoln Highway. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at an office in Makefield Executive Quarters, on Oxford Valley Road. The fourth call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Dolington Road, near Ludlow Road.

January 22 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Rittenhouse Nursing Home, on Township Line Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Cornerstone Drive, off Township Line Road. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Grove Street.

January 23 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 0 to respond for a dwelling fire on Louise Drive.

January 25 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Edgewood Road, near Makefield Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a business on South Main Street, near Afton Avenue.

January 26 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at William Penn Middle School, on Derbyshire Road. The second call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Highland Drive, near Plymouth Road.

 January 27 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for a building fire at the Calvary Full Gospel Church, on Lincoln Highway.

January 28 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide  alarm at a business on South Main Street, near Afton Avenue. The second call was for burning electrical wires inside a home on Sandy Run Road, near Reading Avenue.

January 29 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Keswick Drive, near East Manor Lane.

January 30 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls (Station 30), for Engine 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Kirby Drive. The second call was for an auto extrication on Oxford Valley Road, near Dobry Road. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Hopewell Township (Mercer County Station 51), for Ladder 0 to respond for a fire at Capitol Health Hospital. The fourth call was for a chimney fire on West College Avenue, near Penn Valley Terrace.

January 31 — Dispatched for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on Bancroft Lane, in the Wyndham development.

February 1 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Rugby Drive, in the Laurel Oaks development. The second call was for a car fire next to a home on Lincoln Avenue, near Irving Street. The third call was for a dwelling fire on Manor Lane North, in the Penn Valley Manor development.

February 2 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for natural gas fumes near a home in the Rose Hollow development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the Golden China Restaurant on Township Line Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home in the Cornerstone development, off Township Line Road.

February 3 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Brentwood Road, in the Makefield Brook development. The second call was for a water flow alarm at a home in the Cornerstone development, off Township Line Road. The third call was for “gas fumes in the area” near the intersection of Countess Drive and Princess Drive. The fourth call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Bridle Estates Drive.
