For the week of December 24th through December 30th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 9 calls

December 25 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Bayberry Lane, in the Heacock Meadows development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Clydesdale Circle, near Creamery Road.

December 27 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Wexford Court, near Throwbridge Drive.

December 28 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on Schindler Drive, in the Wyndham development. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Engine 80 to respond for a building fire on South State Street.

December 29 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at the Continental Tavern, on Main Street.

                December 30 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at the William Penn Middle School, on Derbyshire Road. The second call was for an electrical fire at a home on Powderhorn Drive, in the Dolington Estates development. The third call was for a dwelling fire on Bedford Place, off River Road.
