For the week of October 29th through November 4th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 12 calls.

October 29 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Afton Elementary School, on Quarry Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at an office in the Floral Vale Professional Park, on Yardley Langhorne Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Fountain Road, in the Yardley Run development.

October 30 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Fillmore Way, in the Regency development.

October 31 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown (Station 45), for Ladder 80 and Engine 0 to respond for a building fire on Penns Trail. The second call was for a building fire on Sterling Road, in the Brookstone development.

November 1 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Ashley Road, in the Heather Ridge development. The second call was for gas fumes in the area of Big Oak Road and Oxford Valley Road. The third call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 21), for Ladder 80 to respond for a working fire at a home on Strawberry Lane, near Yardley Langhorne Road.

November 2 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Jenny Drive, in the Ashley Estates development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Pownal Drive, in the Longshore Estates development.

November 3 — Dispatched for an auto extrication on South Main Street, near College Avenue.
