For the week of September 24th through September 30th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 14 calls.

September 24 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Heller Drive, in the Makefield Ridge development.

 September 25 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an auto extrication at the entrance to Shady Brook Farm, on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the Hampton Inn, in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center on Stony Hill Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at Arden Courts Nursing Home, on Stony Hill Road.

September 27 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Makefield Highlands Golf Club, on Woodside Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on South Main Street, between Afton Avenue and College Avenue. The third call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Spruce Mill Drive, in the Makefield Glen development. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Lang Court, in the Hidden Oaks development.

September 28 — Dispatched for a standby assignment at the scene of an accident at the intersection of Stony Hill Road and Bluestone Drive.

September 29 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on University Drive, in the Sandy Run development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Big Oak Road, near Esther Lane. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Dickinson Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development. The fourth call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Pennsylvania Avenue, near College Avenue.

September 30 — Dispatched for natural gas fumes in the area of Lindenhurst Road and Woodside Road.
