For the week of September 3rd through September 9th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.

September 3 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Crestview Way, in the Yardley Crest development.

 September 4 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to respond for an apartment fire at the Pennsbury Court Apartments, on Plaza Boulevard.

September 5 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Quarry Commons Drive, near Dolington Road. The second call was for fumes that were coming from a police car at the township building, on Edgewood Road.

September 6 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on Riverdale Road, neat East Manor Lane.

 September 7 — Dispatched for four calls. The first call was for a marine rescue in the area of East Afton Avenue and River Road, where there was a report of a vehicle in the river. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Clydesdale Circle, in the Ridings development. The third call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient at Rittenhouse Village nursing home, on Township Line Road. The fourth call was for another special assignment to assist the squad with gaining entry to a home on Covington Road, in the Makefield Glen development.

September 8 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient on River Road, near Bedford Place. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Christine’s Restaurant, on Oxford Valley Road.
