For the week of April 2nd through April 8th, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 7 calls.

 April 3 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Deerpath Lane, near Edgewood Road. The second call was for burning electrical wires on a pole on Lindenhurst Road, near Spring Lane. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on South Delaware Avenue, near College Avenue.

 April 5 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a mulch pile fire in the rear of Shady Brook Farm, on Stony Hill Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at the Hampton Inn, in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center on Stony Hill Road.

April 6 — Dispatched for natural gas fumes in the area of Interstate 95 and Taylorsville Road.

April 7 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Hyde Park Place, in the Big Oak Woods development.
