For the week of November 20 th through November 26 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 12 calls.

November 22 — Dispatched for six calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home
on Stackhouse Drive, near Black Rock Road. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the
squad with a patient on Independence Drive, near Liberty Drive. The third call was for a mutual aid
assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Engine 80 to respond for a dwelling fire on Pine Glen Road, near
White Swan Way. The fourth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Lakeview Circle, in the
Tanglewood development. The fifth call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Temple Drive, in
the Sandy Run development. The sixth call was for an activated fire alarm at the Continental Tavern,
on Main Street.
November 23 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a
home on Princess Drive, near Kings Road. The second call was for a special assignment to assist the
squad with a patient on St. James Place, near Yardley Morrisville Road.
November 24 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on North Bradford Road, in
the Yardley Run development.
November 25 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide
on Michael Road, near Margery Road. The second call was for an “extinguished dwelling” fire at a
home on Rose Hollow Drive, near Cardinal Drive. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a
home on Ludlow Road, near Halls Lane.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 494 calls. For
