For the week of October 9 th through October 15 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

October 9 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living, on Stony Hill
Road.
October 10 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at St.
Ignatius School, on Reading Avenue. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Brookfield Road, in the Leedoms Field development.
October 11 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Long Acre Lane, in the
Yardley Estates development.
October 12 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a
home on Heritage Oak Drive, in the Heritage Oaks development. The second call was for a mutual aid
assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 80 to respond for an odor of natural gas
inside a home in the Shady Brook development, off Village Road. The third call was for a mutual aid
assist to Falls (Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for a burning odor inside a building in the Commons
at Fallsington, on Lakefield Road.
October 14 — Dispatched for a dwelling fire on Countess Drive, near Queens Drive.
