For the week of October 23 rd through October 29 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 7 calls.

October 25 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at
Starbucks, on Main Street. The second call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Lincoln Avenue, near
Irving Street.
October 26 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home
on Manor Lane North, in the Manor Gate development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm
at an office in Makefield Executive Quarters, on Oxford Valley Road.
October 27 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on North Main
Street, near Jervue Drive.
October 28 — Dispatched for fumes in the area of a home on Duchess Drive, in the Edgewood
Park development.
October 29 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Fairless Hills (Station 31), for Rescue 80 to
respond for a building fire at the Sheraton Hotel, on Oxford Valley Road.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 450 calls. For
