For the week of July 24 th through July 30 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 11 calls.

July 24 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Bluebird Drive, in the Heacock Meadows development. The second call was for an activated carbon
monoxide alarm at a home in the Palmer Farm development, off Township Line Road.
July 25 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated carbon monoxide alarm
at a home on Kathy Drive, in the Yardley Crossing development. The second call was for an activated
fire alarm at an office in the Floral Vale Professional Park, off Yardley Langhorne Road. The third call
was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Bluebird Drive, in the Heacock Meadows development.
July 26 — Dispatched for a “domestic rescue” at a home on Deerbrook Drive, off Mill Road.
July 28 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Lexington Drive, in the Yardley Hunt development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a
home on Manor Lane North, in the Manor Gate development. The third call was for an activated
carbon monoxide alarm at a home in the Rose Hollow development, off Cardinal Drive.
July 30 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on
Leedoms Drive, in the Farmview development. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a
home on Fox Hollow Drive, in the Yardley Estates development.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 332 calls. For
