For the week of August 28 th through September 3 rd the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 12 calls.

August 28 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at the
Hampton Inn on Stony Hill Road, in the Lower Makefield Corporate Center. The second call was for an
activated fire alarm at the Vault Brewing Company, on South Main Street. The third call was for a
mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Ladder 80 and Engine 80 to respond to a building fire
at Cares Animal Hospital, on West Cabot Boulevard.
August 29 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Saly Road, off Michael Road.
August 30 — Dispatched for a special assignment to assist the squad with a patient in the
Yardley Commons complex, off South Main Street.
August 31 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Garey Drive, in the Wyndham
development.
September 1 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist
the squad with a patient on Highland Drive, in the Hillwood Terrace development. The second call was
for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Bluebird Drive, in the Heacock Meadows
development. The third call was for a dwelling fire at a home on Cedar Hollow Drive, in the Makefield
Glen development.
September 2 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Falls
(Station 30), for Ladder 0 to respond for an apartment fire at the Commons at Fallsington, on
Makefield Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Cinnabar Lane, in the
Meadow Brook development. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Westover
Road, near Black Rock Road.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 390 calls. For
