For the week of June 19 th through June 25 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 10 calls.

June 19 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Morrisville (Station 98), for Ladder 0 to
respond for a dwelling fire on River Road, near Ferry Road.
June 20 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown
(Station 45), for Ladder 80 to respond for a building fire at the Rothman Institute, on South Eagle
Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at Spring Village Nursing Home, on Township Line
Road. The third call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on Waltham Court, in the Makefield Glen
development.
June 23 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Pennwood
Middle School, on Makefield Road. The second call was for burning electrical wires on a pole on
Manor Lane South, in the Manor Gate development.
June 24 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Ramsey Road,
near Countess Drive.
June 25 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the
squad with a patient on Knoll Drive, near Pine Lane. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at
a home on Kirkbride Circle, in the Palmer Farm development. The third call was for a barn fire in the
area of Stoopville Road and Washington Crossing Road.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 269 calls. For
