For the week of June 12 th through June 18 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 8 calls.

June 13 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at a home on
Manor Lane North, in the Manor Gate development. The second call was for a dwelling fire on Orchard
Way, near Green Ridge Road.
June 14 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at the Church of Latter Day Saints, on Pine
Grove Road.
June 15 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for “fumes in the dwelling” at a home on
Collins Grant Court, off Oxford Valley Road. The second call was for an activated fire alarm at a home
on North Crescent Boulevard, near Edgewood Road.
June 17 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for a special assignment to assist the LMT
police at the Yardley train station, on Reading Avenue. The second call was for “fumes in the dwelling”
at a home on Palmer Farm Drive, near Satter Court.
June 18 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Applewood Circle, in the
Tanglewood development.
Year to date, the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 259 calls. For
