For the week of June 5 th through June 11 th the all-volunteer Yardley Makefield Fire Company responded to 10 calls.

June 5 — Dispatched for two calls. The first call was for an activated fire alarm at Pennwood
Middle School, on Makefield Road. The second call was for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station
22), for Rescue 80 to respond for a “domestic rescue” on Norsam Drive, near Dilworth Lane.
June 6 — Dispatched for three calls. The first call was for a mutual aid assist to Newtown
(Station 45), for Engine 80 to respond for a chimney fire at a home on Brecknock Court. The second call
was for an activated fire alarm at Magic Cottage Day Care, on Floral Vale Road. The third call was for
an activated fire alarm at a home on Hollow Branch Road, near Scarlet Oak Road.
June 7 — Dispatched for a mutual aid assist to Langhorne (Station 22), for Rescue 80 to
respond for an auto extrication on Woodbourne Road, near the railroad crossing.
June 8 — Dispatched for a marine rescue on the Delaware River, in the area of the Charcoal
Steaks Restaurant on River Road.
June 9 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at Spring Village Nursing Home, on Township
Line Road.
June 10 — Dispatched for an activated carbon monoxide alarm on Penn Valley Drive, near
Cadwallader Court.
June 11 — Dispatched for an activated fire alarm at a home on Yardley Morrisville Road, near
Black Rock Road.
